Isidora Nikolić-Savin is an attorney with extensive professional experience working on complex legal matters in the former Yugoslavia and a solid international legal background, as well as a licensed court interpreter for the English language.

Isidora entered the legal profession as a Partner to a prominent Serbian law firm in 2001. In 2012, she founded the Nikolić Savin Law Firm and has served as its Managing Partner since then. Most recently, she joined Transcarbon International, Architects of Sustainability, as a Special Consultant on the former Yugoslavian countries, also providing support for projects worldwide as needed in her capacity of Senior Consultant on Private Law. Prior to that, she worked as a full-time Legal and Training Consultant to the Serbian Privatization Agency as a subcontractor of Deloitte & Touche. Over the course of her professional engagements, she has developed an extensive network of contacts within both the private and the public sectors in Serbia and Croatia.

Isidora’s main areas of expertise are the privatization of socially-owned enterprises, corporate law, contracts, antitrust law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, alternative disputes resolution, and private international law. Her professional assignments involved supporting transactions reaching up to €308 million in value in various areas and sectors such as the retail industry, insurance and banking, and intergovernmental loans.

Isidora is currently a Doctoral (Ph.D.) candidate at the Belgrade University School of Law (Belgrade, Serbia). Previously, she earned a Master’s degree at the Temple University School of Law (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America) for which she was awarded the Ron Brown Fellowship for graduate studies by the United States Department of State, after having obtained a degree in Civil and Commercial Law of the European Union (EU) and graduated from the Novi Sad University School of Law (Novi Sad, Serbia) as one of the top 5 students in her class. Additionally, she holds a Certificate of Completion of the Munich University Summer Training in European and German Law from the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität, LMU Munich (Germany), that she attended with a study grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Moreover, she is the Vice President of the Fulbright Alumni Association of Serbia and serves as a mentor for the program Share Your Knowledge by the United States Embassy and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), empowering young female leaders in Serbia.

Isidora is a national of Serbia, a Serbian native speaker, fluent in most languages spoken in the former Yugoslavia (Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin), and in English.
